Convert your 4.0L engine to a 4.7L torque monster! This kit will give your 4.0L engine the low-end and mid-range torque it lacks and still have power to spare for the freeway. Ideal for towing, rock crawling or just an every day driver. Available in two over-bore sizes. 20% larger fuel injectors may be required. The conversion kit includes:
- Stroker Crankshaft
- Forged Pistons
- Performance Connecting Rods with ARP rod bolts
- Total Seal Piston Rings
- New Main Bearings & Rod Bearings
- Camshaft and timing set not included. You can choose the cam and timing set that best suits your needs.
The kit is pre-balanced and the pistons are pressed on the connecting rods. The only machine work required is a simple bore and hone. The pistons come with the domes ceramic coated and the skirts moly baked. Connecting rods are our high performance rods. You would be hard pressed to find a better Stroker kit! Top your engine off with our aluminum cylinder head for even greater power.
NOTE: Stock valve springs must be replaced with our performance valve springs and retainers when a camshaft with more than .450 lift. 1997-up engines will also have to replace the valves with the early 4.0L single keeper groove valves when using our springs and retainers because the triple groove valve tip will not protrude enough for the rocker to contact them.
